Hello Lovelies!
If you happen to watch a lot of beauty gurus on YouTube, then perhaps you are familiar with Bioderma....the increased trend of Micellar Water has seen other companies come out with there own versions. Micellar Water reminds me a lot of Eskinol, a product widely known across Asia (specifically speaking, the Philippines), that has been around since my mum was my age! Though Eskinol isn't exactly a Micellar Water, I do see the resemblance between the two in the cleansing properties they have, as well as the no need to rinse quality.
That being said, Garnier has come out with their own version...and dare I say it is SPECTACULAR! Now I haven't tried Bioderma to be able to compare the two, mainly due to the reason that this product is ridiculously expensive in Australia. Specifically, the Bioderma Crealine 100ml retails for $19.99 at Priceline. So when I saw Garnier at Target on sale for less than $9 I had to grab it. The reviews over on MakeUpAlley and BeautyHeaven are so high and well recommended that I just had to get it.
The directions aren't explicit in the directions. The way I use this is after I cleanse my face at night, I dab some product on a cotton wool and swipe it across my face while applying slight pressure. After it's dried on my skin, I continue on with moisturiser.
This products removes makeup so easily! The thing is, I don't use it as a makeup remover but more so as a toner. Even after I've cleansed and applied a face mask, I can still see foundation come off onto the cotton wool; it removes every last trace of makeup and makes the skin feel fantastic and CLEAN without being drying at all. There are no claims to improve skin quality or appearance, so I have no expectations of this. It has not broken me out so far.
If you happen to use makeup removing wipes I suggest that you substitute this product in its place. You can get far more use out of this water and save money and the environment and the same time. How awesome is that :) When it comes down to it all, I think this is a fantastic product that is worth its buck.
Until next time, peace and keep it covered!
A Graceful Quirk.
